Original Kerry Network wins Bronze Cluster Management Excellence Award

Just 18 months into its development Original Kerry, whose membership of craft makers totals 63 as at December 2012, has just received bronze at the Cluster Management Excellence Awards. ESCA is the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis. Based in Berlin and hosted by VDI/VDE Inno-vation + Technik GmbH, ESCA supports in particular cluster managers and policy makers with advice on cluster development. ESCA experts have developed a methodology for cluster benchmarking that is acknowledged by both cluster managers and policy makers throughout Europe. Since 2008 more than 300 cluster management organisations have been benchmarked according to this methodology. Being also involved in the European Clusters Excellence Initiative (ECEI) ESCA experts contribute to the development of tools that support cluster managers on their way to excellence. Original Kerry intends to continue its participation in the Awards and to further enhance the development of the Original Kerry cluster.
